Terms of service

SchoolCRM is operated by Ekdahl Enterprises AS, a company registered in Norway with organisation number 987 895 918, located at Smørbukkveien 3, 3123 Tønsberg, Norway. References to "we", "us", or "our" in these terms refer to Ekdahl Enterprises AS.

SchoolCRM is a cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) platform designed for schools and training providers. The service lets you manage student records, courses, cohorts, leads, communication, and related workflows.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at post@schoolcrm.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

Each account belongs to a single organisation (team). You may invite additional users to your team. You are responsible for ensuring that everyone who accesses the service through your account complies with these terms.

SchoolCRM is offered on a subscription basis.

Subscriptions are billed monthly via Paddle. Payments are processed automatically on the same day each month. You authorise us to charge the payment method on file for all recurring fees.

All prices are stated in Norwegian kroner (NOK). You are responsible for any applicable taxes in your jurisdiction beyond Norwegian VAT.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the application. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms, non-payment, or misuse of the service. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.

You may request a refund within 30 days of your purchase date. Refunds are handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, who manages all billing and payment processing on our behalf.

You agree not to use the service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation;
• Store or transmit unlawful, harmful, or offensive content;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its related systems;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive source code from the service.

We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Norwegian data protection law. As a customer you act as the data controller for the personal data of your students and staff; we act as the data processor on your behalf.

A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request at post@schoolcrm.com. By using the service you accept the terms of our DPA as incorporated into these Terms of Service.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is stored on servers within the European Economic Area.

All rights in the SchoolCRM platform, including software, design, and documentation, are owned by Ekdahl Enterprises AS or its licensors. These terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the service.

You retain ownership of all data and content you upload to the service. By uploading content you grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to provide the service to you.

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance where practicable. We are not liable for downtime caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

To the fullest extent permitted by Norwegian law, our total liability to you for any claims arising under or in connection with these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a prominent notice in the application at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the ordinary courts of Norway, with Tønsberg District Court as the agreed venue of first instance.
